
DESCRIPTION
Bouldering is a style of rock climbing undertaken without a rope and normally limited to short climbs through boulder route (called a problem in climbing lingo) over a crash pad (called a bouldering mat) so that a fall will not result in serious injury.
This allows climbers to practice technique and more difficult moves in a safer environment. However, bouldering is becoming a sport in its own right which promotes promotes physical fitness, endurance, creativity, and quick thinking.
