
DESCRIPTION
The dumbbell snatch is an Olympic Lift involving a fast, explosive movement to help athletes develop power. It is learned in several phases, and should only be performed if under supervision (or if you have previously learned under the supervision) of a qualified and certified trainer.
A few tips if you have learned this lift, keep the dumbbell close to your body thoughout the lift, be sure to lift your elbow up high before bringing the dumbbell above your head, and land softly with hips and butt back.
