
DESCRIPTION
With the invention of the treadmill came the ability to run for an extended period of time without ever actually going anywhere. Though you lack the change in scenery you get from running outdoors, running indoors on a treadmill is a good way to beat the extreme heat of summer and the freezing temperatures and snow of winter.
To break up the monotony that can come with treadmill running, change up the run by doing intervals (alternate sprinting and either walking or jogging), play with the incline, or a combination of the two.
